New Link Added to Webpage

Be sure to check out the many philatelic links located under the "Philatelic Links" tab. Recently a local scout suggested I add the "Collection of Philatelic Links".  I found many of these websites to offer some very good information for beginners to advanced collectors. What do you think?

The wait is over... the second issue of StampEd is here!

In the Q2 issue, the StampEd team and our intrepid authors tackle some topics near and dear to our hearts. From patent medicine private die proprietary stamps to the digital philatelic ecosystem, from creating collage art with stamps to using tracing figures who might have been lost to history with philately, this issue runs the gamut — and that's not even mentioning the stamp show advice, bluegrass playlist, Postcrossing intro, stamp storage advice, and dives into UN stamps and cartophilately! A lot of love went into this issue, and we hope you love it right back.

What is Topical Stamp Collecting?

Topical collectors concentrate on specific topics and themes represented by the stamps. Some collectors concentrate on the subject depicted in stamps, other are interested in stamps of specific color, stamps illustrated in a particular style or even stamps designed by a specific artist.
