Holiday Party
December 15
Each December Big Lick Stamp Club members and guests gather together to celebrate the holidays with food, fellowship and exchange of gifts. It's a fun time. Some dress for the occasion (see picture from December 2022) and we have our annual picture taken. This year we are changing things a bit by taking our party to a local restaurant - The Green Goat. More meal details and a surprise gift will be sent in an email to BLSC members ONLY. Oh, and the gift exchange is like a Dirty Santa. If you would like to participate, and we hope you will, please bring a WRAPPED gift (value about $5-$10). If you bring a gift, you get a gift. Prior to all the fun, we will take care of a little club business by electing club officers and directors for 2025. We hope that you'll make plans to attend this annual event as we celebrate the holidays and welcome a new year.
Holiday Party time and date: 2:00p, Sunday, December 15
Program: Food, fellowship, exchange of gifts, election of 2025 club officers and directors
Location: The Green Goat, 802 Wiley Dr SW, Roanoke, VA 24015. Click HERE for directions.

What is Topical Stamp Collecting?
Topical collectors concentrate on specific topics and themes represented by the stamps. Some collectors concentrate on the subject depicted in stamps, other are interested in stamps of specific color, stamps illustrated in a particular style or even stamps designed by a specific artist.
